1. Bank account - 48k - look into Paypal money market
2. Juniors - Dan wants to branch into junior high - BUDA coaches and players seminar - Dan would attend but can't
a. Mud bath - April 21, 16 open, 8 women
b. State championship - Memorial day?
c. Juniors update
i. Local teams - Dan wants to get a nice trophy like the WIAA trophy in the future
ii. Coaches clinic - March 3 - MUFA will subsidise entry fee but not UPA dues - passed by 5/6 vote with 1 abstention (Dan)
3. Leagues
a. Fall - 498 coed, 74 womens (duplicate women included)
i. - lost money due to lights cost ~ $1100
b. Winter - Dan Bock is running it, same situation as last year with Cynthia
c. Spring - 439 players, made ~ $3000
d. Summer - 1392 players, made ~$9200
Cynthia is doing Red Eye again this year
4. Local Events
a. Discs on Ice - Kris will coordinate
b. BSG
c. Dick and Jane
Discussion Topics
1. Public meeting - Monday January 22 @ 7PM. Robin will find a meeting room
a. Will have a small series of brief reports (Dan - juniors, Sue - leagues, Matt - finances, Robin - chair the meeting)
b. Open discussion - mufa members can submit topics in writing to be added to the agenda by emailing them to falldisc@yahoo.com (subject: attn:secretary) by January 15th.
2. Local future ultimate tourneys and events
a. Spring goaltimate - Sundays and Tuesdays
3. Needs
Fund Robin's travel expenses to attend the League Organizers conference in Philidelphia in Feb.
4. MUFA merchandise - Robin got the go-ahead to make this happen. Again.
