2. Juniors
Madison Mud Bath April 24 & 25- 16 men and 6 women’s teams (6 teams
on wait list)
Madison sent two teams to Nationals (men and women) both ended in the top eight
State Tourney cancelled due to weather (only four teams)
2005 PLAN- HS Coed League in Fall- 8 teams invited, 6 weeks, UPA sanctioned
Proposed MUFA buying 5 UPA teaching packs for new teams. Matt proposes- All
in favor.
Fall Classic, Oct. 3. 16 teams-coed
Spring League- Men and Women’s divisions, UPA sanctioned, two nights per
week.
MudBath05- no date yet. 20 open and 8 womens teams
State HS Championship- May 30th
Growth- Start to visit middle and elementary schools. Five schools per year.
Leave UPA education pack with phy. Ed teachers.
Summer High School Ultimate Camp in June. 9-12:00, 5th – 8th graders.
MUFA loan? Light and dark shirts?
Fall05 Middle School League- 3 weeks long
MUFA votes no to providing food for High School organizational meeting
MUFA votes all in favor of paying for 6 people to get UPA coaching certification
and their dues.
Topics of Discussion
3. Leagues
Spring- $1250 profit, numbers are up. Robin mentions that Rob Lauer would help
run this if we want help.
Summer- ~$10,000 profit. 1000 players this year.
Fall- 4 night per week at Demetrol
Propossal to charge a $20 league fee to build capital- to be further discussed.
4. Midwesterns cancelled- Brad wonders if we can do anything to help with this?
We should ask the Hodags.

2. Local ultimate tournaments
Badger State Games- need contacts listed and wondered about a Juniors division-Robin
will look into this.
Dick and Jane- MUFA votes to donate $500 to Tournament Charity. Matt will deal.
A Coed Tournament-Rumor(Madison Coed) hosted both MadDiscOn and Coed Sectionals
in Madison in 2004. Both very successful.
3. Promotion
Certified coaches- see above.
6. Sponsorship
Women clinics- KJ will assist. Spring05 timeline. Need someone to run it.
Dick and Jane donation to charity $500-see above
Teaching/ Clinic Package- see above

7. Board make up- Sue volunteers to become secretary. Kris Stepenuck will be added as “at large” member.
8. Field of Dreams- skipped due to time constraints.
9. The Plan- We need to account to our players. Get Juniors plan online! All agree to provide feedback by Oct 1.
10. Robin proposes that MUFA fund for members to attend UPA National League
Conference Nov. 17 and 18 in Boulder. All are interested.
