Fall League

FALL LEAGUE 2009

Dates: Aug 19/20 until mid October

Leagues:

  • Monday/Wednesday League – 18 teams, 4/3 coed, 1 baggage allowed.  This league will fill up for both genders. Baggaging with a woman for this league will not give men preference for admission. Games are at Demetral at 6pm and 7:30pm and Warner at 7pm. Sue and Matt league directors. $40
  • Tuesday/Thursday League – 8-10 teams, 4/3 coed, 1 baggage allowed, games at Warner at 7 pm, possibly some early season games at Burr Jones at 6 pm, Dan Bock league director. $40
  • Thursday League – 8 teams, 4/3 coed, 1 baggage allowed. All games at Demetral at  6 or 7:30 pm, Pete Schramm league director. $25
  • Tuesday League – 8 teams, 4/3 or 5/2 coed***, 1 baggage allowed. All games at Demetral at  6 or 7:30 pm. $25
  • Sunday League – 8 team womens league, 1 baggage allowed, all games at Warner at 6 pm. Mo Kappes league director, $25.

Women may play in any number of leagues, men may play in one league***.

If a league is full, you can ask to be put on a waiting list. Just email the person in charge of the league you interested in. The emails are below.

If you pay but your baggage (a person who shares the same password as you and therefore will be placed on your team) does not pay before the registration deadline OR BEFORE THE LEAGUE FILLS UP, your baggage will not get to play. If you can’t or won’t play without your baggage, pay for them yourself or make gosh darn sure they pay on time.

Players will get a long sleeve cotton/poly shirt. Each team will get 2 free pitchers from the Dane on game nights. There will be finals party.

*** Two years ago when we last had 2 one-time per week leagues, one of the leagues struggled to fill up.  This may no longer be a problem but if it is, we will allow men to play in the both the MW league AND the Tuesday league. We may also make the gender ratio 5/2 depending on how many women are interested. The Thursday league has filled up in the past, but if it doesn’t, we also allow men to double up with that league. If you are a man who would like to play in more than one league, please email mufadisc@gmail.com with the subject line “Fall League 2009 multiple roster request”. State your name and whether you are available for Tuesday, Thursday or either. Requests will be taken on a first come first serve basis.  Once registration closes you will be sent an email and asked to pay within 24 hours to claim your spot. Sending to the wrong email address or using a different subject line may mean your message gets lost and you don’t get on the list.
