Spring 2019

MUFA Middle School Spring League – Grades 5-8, Tuesday nights in April/May. Registration is Open!

Youth Ultimate Performance and Skill Series – Open to youth between 11-14. Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 at UW Health at the American Center from April 17-May 8th. This series is for youth athletes age 11-14 who want to improve their ultimate frisbee skills and learn appropriate sports performance techniques to incorporate in to their individual or team training. This series will help individuals learn or improve their basic skills, and addition, teach some offensive and defensive strategies from a cutter/handler perspective.

Madison Area Spring High School League – School-based league organized by Wisconsin Ultimate, single-gender leagues for both males and females.  Click the link for more information or see below for which schools have teams this year.

Little Rads – The Little Rads are a Madison-based Ultimate frisbee club for kids that are middle school aged. The Little Rads are a traveling tournament team with a focus on teaching kids Ultimate skills and participating in Ultimate tournaments with a focus on becoming better teammates and playing with respect, while also being competitive.

Monona Instructional Ultimate Frisbee — Open to kids in Grades 3-5.  Meets Sundays 10AM from April 14-May 19.  This is a beginner class focused on the fundamentals of Ultimate Frisbee. Students will be learning the techniques and skills used for competitive play. The emphasis will be on having fun and learning the sport. Classes are designed to provide players an opportunity to develop their skills through high quality instruction and structured play. First 3 weeks will be instructional based. Last 3 weeks will be part instructional and part game.

Summer 2019
Rad Academy
– All day camp for high school-aged players July 8th-12th; All day camp for middle school-aged players July 29th-August 2nd; half day camps for middle schoolers both weeks. Coached by Radicals players and local female players.

Edgewood Summer Camp: Ultimate Basics – This camp, run from 12:30p-2:30p on 06/24/2019 – 06/27/2019 introduces young athletes to the fundamentals of the sport, including rules of the game, handling the disc, and working as a team. Each player will be given a camp T-Shirt and a Discraft Ultrastar disc. Open to youth entering grades 6-9. Cost is $75, use promo code MUFA2019 for $5 off.

Edgewood Summer Camp: Ultimate Advanced – This camp, run from 3:00p-5:00p on 06/24/2019 – 06/27/2019 is intended for players who already have a basic understanding of the game, and are comfortable throwing/catching a disc. Activities will include Ultimate specific drills, conditioning, offensive/defensive strategy, and full 7v7 games. Players will receive their own Discraft Ultrastar disc. Open to youth entering grades 7-10. Cost is $75, use promo code MUFA2019 for $5 off.


You must be at least 14 years old on the first day of a given league to participate, or by the date specifically listed on the page for that league.
